Alexander Kyokwijuka has been officially nominated to contest for the position of Member of Parliament for Ndorwa East Constituency ahead of the January 2026 General Elections.
Kyokwijuka was nominated on Wednesday by Aisha Nansubuga, the Kabale District Returning Officer, at the Electoral Commission offices on Makanga Hill in Kabale Municipality.
He will face off with the incumbent Hon. Wilfred Niwagaba and Protazio Begumisa, among other contenders, in what is expected to be a highly competitive race.

He said his vision is to promote agricultural transformation through integrated approaches that enhance productivity and household incomes. He also promised to push for improved infrastructure development, including better roads, schools, and health facilities, to uplift the welfare of the people.
Kyokwijuka further emphasized the need to attract more government programs to the constituency and ensure their proper implementation and monitoring for the benefit of all residents.
“I am committed to a leadership that listens, unites, and delivers. Ndorwa East deserves inclusive representation and tangible results that transform lives,” Kyokwijuka said.
