Kabale LCV Chairperson Warns Leaders Against Promoting Disunity
The Kabale District LCV Chairperson has once again expressed concern over a growing trend of disunity allegedly being promoted by some local leaders in the district.
Speaking recently, the chairperson condemned what he described as deliberate efforts by certain leaders to divide the people of Kabale for personal political gain. He accused them of fabricating false reports and tarnishing the reputations of innocent individuals in an attempt to advance their own interests.
He further claimed that the campaign to sow discord among residents had been long planned, warning that such actions could destabilize the community ahead of the upcoming elections.
“These are the big fish trying to swallow the small fish,” the chairperson said, urging the people of Kabale to remain united and to reject every voice that seeks to create division.
He emphasized the importance of peace and cooperation as the country heads into the campaign period, noting that parliamentary campaigns are set to officially begin next month. He called on residents to carefully listen to candidates’ manifestos and support leaders who promote unity and development rather than conflict and hatred.
