Speaking ahead of her installation, Lion Gloria said her presidency will focus on strengthening humanitarian service, promoting teamwork, expanding community partnerships, increasing member participation and supporting vulnerable communities.
She pledged to build a club that serves with compassion, unity, visibility and lasting impact while promoting environmental conservation, health initiatives, youth empowerment and educational support.
”The true measure of leadership is not the position one holds but the lives one touches through service,” she said.
The Lions Club of Kabale has established itself as a pillar of humanitarian service, implementing programmes in eye care, diabetes awareness, childhood cancer support, environmental conservation, food distribution, education support and youth development, among other community initiatives.
Lion Gloria’s presidential theme, “Cheerfully Serving Humanity: Kindness is a Virtue,” reflects her commitment to compassionate leadership and selfless service.
