KABALE — Since its incorporation in 2017, Archcival Contractors and Building Limited has grown into one of the leading building and civil engineering firms in the Kigezi sub-region, earning a reputation for delivering quality construction projects that meet professional standards and satisfy clients.

‎Located at Plot 2, Off Bwankosa Road, Kabale District, the private company has expanded its operations beyond Kabale to serve clients across Rubanda, Rukiga, Kisoro, Kanungu and Rukungiri districts, with its footprint now extending to other parts of Uganda and East Africa.

‎The company provides a wide range of services, including building construction, road maintenance, renovation, engineering consultancy, aluminium fabrication, metal fabrication and welding, carpentry, joinery, and other civil engineering works.

‎According to the company’s Director, Eng. Anatoli Mucunguzi, Archcival Contractors and Building Ltd was founded after identifying a gap in the construction industry where some contractors failed to meet required standards and did not comply with approved designs.

‎”Our mission has always been to provide quality construction services that satisfy our clients. We have invested in qualified professionals and skilled workers to ensure every project is completed to the highest standards and within the agreed time frame,” Eng. Mucunguzi said.

‎He added that the company’s success is built on a team of experienced engineers, technicians and craftsmen whose commitment to quality has enabled Archcival to successfully deliver numerous projects throughout the Kigezi region.

‎Among the company’s notable completed and ongoing projects are the maternity ward at Kamwezi Health Centre IV in Rukiga District, the administration block at St. Paul’s Seminary Rushoroza in Kabale Diocese, the Golden Jubilee Boys’ Hostel at Kabale School of Comprehensive Nursing, a three-storeyed commercial building opposite Gateway Bus Park in Kigongi, the Medical Superintendent’s staff house at Rushoroza Hospital, and the four-storeyed lecture building at St. Ignatius University.

‎The company is also finalising the multi-storeyed dining hall at St. Mary’s College Rushoroza and is constructing the retirement residence of the Bishop of Kabale Diocese, Rt. Rev. Callist Rubaramira, in Kyanamira.

‎Besides these landmark developments, Archcival Contractors and Building Limited has undertaken numerous construction projects in Kisoro, Kanungu, Rukungiri, Rubanda, Rukiga and Kabale districts, delivering schools, health facilities, commercial buildings, residential houses, institutional structures and other civil engineering works that continue to improve service delivery and community development across the region.

‎Former Principal of Kabale School of Comprehensive Nursing, Josephine Nambilo Mukasa, now serving at Mulago Nursing School, commended the company for its professionalism and commitment to quality.

‎”They are professional engineers who complete projects within the agreed time frame. The construction of the Golden Jubilee Boys’ Hostel clearly demonstrated their competence. Whenever entrusted with a project, they deliver quality work on time,” she said.

‎Local leaders, district stakeholders and residents have also praised the company for consistently delivering durable infrastructure while upholding its core values of Integrity, Trust, Compliance and Responsiveness.

‎Today, Archcival Contractors and Building Limited is regarded as one of the most trusted indigenous construction companies in the Kigezi region. With successful projects spread across Kabale, Rubanda, Rukiga, Kisoro, Kanungu and Rukungiri, and growing operations in other parts of Uganda and East Africa, the company continues to build its reputation through quality workmanship, professionalism and timely delivery.

‎Under its motto, “Your Satisfaction is Our Pride,” the company remains committed to delivering infrastructure that meets clients’ expectations and contributes to national development.
