Priest Urges Christians to Remain Strong in Faith and Wait on God
Rev. Fr. Balthazard Buhalagarha Grace has urged Christians to remain strong in faith and trust that God answers prayers at the right time.
Fr. Buhalagarha said Christians should not conclude that God is delaying their prayers, but should instead remain patient and trust in God’s timing.
“Do not think that God delays answering your prayers. No, He has the right time,” he said.
He also cautioned Christians against seeking help from witch doctors and some pastors whom he described as ungodly, urging them to remain faithful to God when faced with challenges.
The priest said waiting on God can bring powerful changes into people’s lives, adding that Christians should allow God to guide them in their daily lives.
“When you wait on God, He does powerful things in your life,” he said.
Fr. Buhalagarha made the remarks while preaching during the morning Mass on Thursday at St. Francis of Assisi Kyanamira Parish.
He reminded Christians that there is nothing God cannot do, describing God as a “God of surprise” who can act in ways people may not expect.
He further encouraged Christians to accept God’s guidance and strive to live impactful lives in their communities.
According to Fr. Buhalagarha, God, who created His people, knows their desires, needs and aspirations better than anyone else.
Kyanamira Parish is under the stewardship of the Missionaries of Africa, commonly known as the White Fathers.
